The Small Business Information Center coordinates small business development and advocacy for small, minority and women owned businesses in Hillsborough County. The Center offers small business workshops and free business counseling and has small business resource material available.
The "First Stop" Information Center was created to facilitate and promote the growth
and development of the fastest growing business sector of the economy, small business.
While within the County there are many services for small businesses, we realize that
there is an opportunity to make our service delivery more effective and convenient for
the citizens of Hillsborough County by offering a centrally located information and
referral center through the "First Stop" Small Business Information Center.
At the "First Stop" for Small Business, current and potential business owners have
access to small business information and can obtain referral information to appropriate technical and financial assistance providers as well as general information.
