Redistricting 2011 Project Plan

On June 20, the Board of County Commissioners met for their second Public Hearing to discuss the Redistricting maps. After public comment, the Board chose Map G, by a 6-1 vote. Commissioner Kevin Beckner cast the lone dissenting vote.

The next step is to forward this decision to The Department of Justice for approval.

Commissioners for reapportioned districts 1 through 4 will be elected in November, 2012.
