Maricela Medrano, PGM Ombudsman, provides information, guidance and assistance to customers considering or involved in the application and permitting processes of the PGM department.

When Should You Contact the Ombudsman?

• If you need assistance with any of the application, permit or land use processes.
• If you need assistance in preparing your application (i.e., variance, rezoning, special use, conditional use, subdivision, etc.).
• If you have concerns you would like to discuss with us.
• If you are facing an issue in the department and you need help finding a solution.
• If you need guidance regarding your site development.
• If you need assistance during your public hearing.
• If you received a notice of code violation and don’t know what to do.
• If you need to vacate an easement and you don’t know the process.
• If you need to complete multiple applications and permits to develop your project or address your code violation and you don’t know where to start.
