- Creation of sustainable gardens and natural green spaces on the Children's Services Lake Magdalene campus using Florida-friendly landscaping practices and teaching water conservation techniques to youth and staff.
- In partnership with Hillsborough County School, Dorothy Thomas Special Day School, Children's Services supports and participates in the Recycling Clubs where youth, staff and parents collect recyclables on the Lake Magdalene Campus. The youth will take a field trip to local recycling center to learn about recycling. In addition, the youth will re-purpose many of the recycled materials in creative art projects.
