Hillsborough County appoints the directors of the Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, Inc., approves the budget of the Work Force Investment Act funds administered by the Alliance, and approves the selection of the One-Stop Operator. The Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, Inc is the responsible agency in Hillsborough County to administer federal and state funds for employment services. County involvement in the program is outlined in the Federal Workforce Investment Act and the Florida Workforce Innovations Act.
