Purpose:
This Board confirms the competency and integrity of applicants applying for electrical certification in the County, and takes disciplinary action against those contractors that fail to comply with the Electrical Code.
Maximum Membership:
7 voting members and 2 alternates
Membership specified as follows:
- 3 electrical contractors
- 2 Florida registered professional engineers qualified
to work in the area of electrical engineering
- 1 representative of an Electrical Utility Company
- 1 representative from the electrical trades
- 2 alternate members that must be knowledgeable
and experienced in the technical codes of this
board.
Length of Terms:
4 year terms/member
2 year terms/alternate
