Background:

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is designed to encourage and facilitate volunteerism among seniors 55 and over in Hillsborough County. Through RSVP's individual volunteer placement services, seniors can chose between many non-profit agencies in their community for the volunteer activity that is just right for them. While volunteering or traveling to and from their assignment, RSVP volunteers are covered with supplemental accident and liability insurance and are eligible to receive limited travel and meal allowances.
