| Hillsborough County Department of Aging Services and Florida Adult Day Care
Association co-hosted the 2008 State Conference "Circle of Care." The
conference was held September 12 & 13, in Tampa, FL. Attendees were provided
with information on the latest Alzheimer's disease research, legislative
updates, direct care techniques, practical ideas and strategies to create "a
red carpet experience" for participants, caregivers, loved ones, customers and
staff. Speakers included Bob Asztalos, Secretary E. Douglas Beach, Ph.D.,
Donna Cutting, Senator Mike Fasano, Huntington Potter, Ph.D, and other
professionals in the field of aging. |
