Belinda A. Castro
Belinda A. Castro came to work with the County in March of 1995. Her first
position was as a Data Entry Clerk with Aging Services. Currently, she is the
Supervisor over the Data Entry Section. It is her primary job to see that all
client information is entered in the C.I.R.T.S. (Consumer Information
Registration & Tracking System) database with the utmost accuracy and
integrity. C.I.R.T.S. is also the means by which we report services provided
to our clients for reimbursement from our grant monies. "We have a great
staff here at Aging, providing services and enormous support to our elderly
community. How could I not be motivated to do my part the best that I can,
said Belinda"

Kimberly Porter
Kimberly Porter is an Executive Secretary for Nutrition Services. She has been
employed with the Department of Aging Services for six years. As the
Executive Secretary for her section, she is responsible for performing
administrative duties such as, creating personnel actions for 102 employees,
processing new hire paperwork for prospective employees, and registering
employees for required training. "I find enjoyment in the work I perform
knowing it contributes to meeting the needs of others, said Kimberly."

Paulette Michelle Rooksberry
Paulette Michelle Rooksberry is an LPN working currently at Riverside Senior
Center. She has worked for the Department of Aging for seven years. She is a
nurse and care for the medical needs and requirements of our Adult Day Care
population. "What I love most about my job are the people I care for and the
people I work with. They are my family, said Paulette." I strive to be
motivated by my love for the people I care for, and seek to serve him where he
has placed me. The World should know that I have been extended way more grace
and favor than I deserve and that I am grateful.

Shelia Watson
Shelia Watson is an Adult Service Aide for In-Home Services. She has been
employed with the Department of Aging Services for 17 years. As an Adult
Service Aide, she works at the Senior Centers helping with set up for the day
for HDM, decorate the center for certain holidays, help with crafts for the
seniors, set out to different nutrition sites and deliver meals, which is her
favorite duties because she can meet a lot of clients in there homes. She also
works with the in-home services where she goes in and helps clients with
housekeeping, bill paying and shopping. "What I enjoy the most about Aging
Services is the smiles on the elderly faces when you just take the time to
listen. I think it makes them feel someone does care about there needs, said
Shelia." The best thing about aging services is that everywhere I do go to be
an Adult Service Aide is that everyone is so helpful and it is amazing how
everyone gets along.

In recognition and appreciation of the process improvement idea(s) that allow
Aging Services staff to perform a job and/or follow a procedure better,
quicker, easier, less expensive with an improved value and quality of service,
which enhances the Department of Aging Services' image.
