Our Housing Rehabilitation Program provides financial assistance to income eligible homeowners for making needed repairs on owner-occupied properties, single family or mobile homes. Financial assistance is provided in the form of a loan. Homes must be located in unincorporated Hillsborough County (outside the City of Tampa) and the Applicant must have lived in their home for two years. Other Rehabilitation Programs:
Barrier Removal Program - Individuals with disabilities that need barrier removal to make their homes easily accessible with the installation of wheelchair ramps, handicap bars, widening doors, and bathroom remodeling, please contact Self Reliance, Inc. for an Application at (813) 375-3965.
Elderly and Disabled Assistance Program - Elderly (62 or older) and disabled homeowners needing emergency repair assistance on their roofs, electrical, or plumbing, please contact the Centre for Women, Inc. for an Application at (813) 251-8437.
