Five Year Consolidated Plan 2011-12 -- 2015-16

• The Hillsborough County Affordable Housing Department is developing its Five Year Consolidated Plan for Program Years 2011-12 through 2015-16 as required by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Consolidated Plan establishes a unified, coordinated vision for housing and community development actions for the upcoming five years. Wade Trim Consulting Team is assisting the County with this process. The consultants will be coordinating a series of public meetings and stakeholder meetings to gather information on community concerns and needs. Hillsborough County will use the input from citizens as well as housing and community development partners to determine its housing and community development needs, develop strategies for addressing those needs, and undertake specific actions consistent with those strategies. The information gathered will help shape the Five Year Consolidated Plan and the direction federal funds including Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds will be expended within the CDBG Target Areas and throughout the County.
